Soviet rocket "Wostok", on display near the space pavilion at the "All-Russian Exhibition Centre" in Moscow, the ВДНХ (spoken "VDNKh"), which stands for the "Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy".
Gagarin was shot into orbit by a rocket of this class on 12th April 1961.
Still impressive, since I have never seen a true scale model of a rocket of this size in real life. Just imagine, that manned space flight exists for only 46 years now.
Great shot!! There is the splendid history of space program in Russia.
